  Every year we have a family vacation over the 4th of July in Haig Point. Every year the experience has been great and this time was no exception. The house was wonderful, the location was perfect for our family, and the view of the lagoon was perfect for sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night.

  We arrived to find no coverings on windows, even in the bathrooms. The owners were aware of this and said they’d fix it. They didn’t. The upstairs bathroom which could accommodate 4 guests had no towel racks or hooks. Where were 4 guests to hang their wet towels? The walls in both upstairs bedrooms were entirely bare so no mirrors. Imagine 4 guests getting ready for a special event with just the small bathroom mirror. None of these shortcomings were a deal breaker in itself but it was obvious the new owners put it on the rental market and at some point they would complete the upstairs area. In the meantime we pay top dollar. Complaints to management after the visit have been unsatisfactory.

  Very nice home.
  Downstairs is a perfect layout. Not fond of the foam cover on master bed.
  Upstairs shared bathroom is tight for guests.
