  We were there for a family golf vacation and everything was perfect! The staff on the island couldn't be more accommodating moving your bags, clubs, setting up reservations, etc. The Golf staff was one of the best prepared and most personable staffs you could ever wish to encounter! Truly Oustanding!

  We have a big group do a golf trip at Haig Point every year, and the last two years we have rented this house. It's perfect for our large group, rare 5 bedroom option at Haig Point. The downstairs area is great for gathering and hanging out after golf. Will rent again!

  We have stayed at this house before and loved it. It's ideal for 5 couples and even one couple with kids to stay over the garage. However, this last visit was less than ideal. The house was NOT clean. There were bugs everywhere. Towels were dirty and sheets had dog hair on them... despite it not being a dog friendly house. Maintenance needs to step up their cleaning game.

  Another perfect week at Haig Point. First time we stayed at this home. Layout worked perfectly for our group of two families -- with 4 equal masters in the house and an additional bedroom over the garage -- deciding who stayed where was simple. The location was close to the clubhouse and beach road. I would say that the property is starting to look a little tired though. Furniture is wearing and a bit formal, and the color palette could use an update. Could use a bit more seating for a larger group in the family room. And likely time to update a few little things like silverwear and dishes. All in all though, a good home for a larger group. Our favorites remain 11 Osprey and 67 Prestwick for the price. The team that takes care of you is always amazing. Tameka handled every detail so kindly. We had a cracked coffee pot and Kenesha had a new one there in moments. Tide was even in our kitchen when we arrived sorting groceries! Special people everywhere at Haig Point. Another fabulous week. Can't wait to get back.

  We had a large group over the Christmas holiday and the house was perfectly suited. The five identical master suites are great for families or corporate groups. And the kitchen is simply superb. Two dishwashers - amazing!

  This home is great for a large group. The kitchen is large, warm and welcoming. The only downside to this home was the sofa. It’s tired and definitely in need of being replaced.
  The Haig Point staff is exceptional in every way. If you are new to Daufuskie, be aware that both Melrose and Bloody Point are in bankruptcy and disrepair and hence, transportation and services are limited in other areas of the island.
